Steam Railway
West Somerset Steam Railway
The West Somerset railway, a branch line of the old Great Western Railway, runs from Minehead to Bishops Lydeard. Dunster station, one of the ten stations on the route, is 20 minutes walk from Dunster.

Dunster Village is a member of the national Walkers are Welcome scheme being a network set up in 2007 to help strengthen the Destination’s reputation and appeal to visitors. We are privileged to have so many walks in the Exmoor National Park accessible from our doorstep and offer a warm welcome to both individual walkers and organised groups.
